On September 22, runners gathered at Princess Anne Park for the 2nd Annual Toni-yo-yo Run for Fun, a family-friendly event that featured a 1K Tot Trot, 2K Tween Race, and 3K Open Pace. The event had a fundraising goal that went towards Silver Creek Pre-School, a local therapeutic daycare for children with special needs. The money raised will help a family-in-need’s child attend Silver Creek as well as enhance the Centre’s amazing outdoor natural playground. Some of the fun planned included Top 3 prizes in each of the three races, a special mascot appearance, a photo booth, many giveaways, and more! In attendance were Irena Setnik and Susan Kawa from Silver Creek who enjoyed the festivities with Toni and Toni’s mom and event founder, Andrea Sluga. It was a magnificent event that brought the community together for such a great and noble cause! Learn more at toniyoyo.com
